I'm ridin home last night and da tanks gettin' a little low, so switch to reserve. We've been hav'in a heat wave here tha last coupla days (over 100). So, I'm ridin along on surface streets when all of a sudden, me bike starts cuttin' out on me like it's runnin out of fuel. She sputters, backfires and couphs, recovers and then sputters to a stop. I coast onto a side street, a little puzzled. I get off my steed and look at the clear fuel line (I installed clear tubing last year) and low and behold, there's no gas in the line! So's I open da filler cap and sees gas down there. I scratch my head a moment, reach down and switch to prime and I sees fuel run into the line and down into da carb. Great I says! I put da cap back on and fire her up. She runnin just fine. I gets about 4 miles down da road, she starts sputterin an couphin again. I repeat the procedure and everthin is fine once again. This happened once more before makin it to me homestead. Man, talk about frustratin! Anyway, I gues these here Savages don't like too much heat. The tank vapor locks on low fuel and heat combined. If this happens to ya, just do what I done, should work. Ride'um, fix'um, Ride'um
